The Heidkopf is a 325 meter high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg . It belongs to the Hahnenkamm ridge , whose main summit ( 436  m above sea  level ) is adjacent to the neighboring Hohe Mark in the southwest .

In the north of the mountain is the wine village of Michelbach with the settlement of Birkenberg . The Heidkopf is bounded in the east by the valley of the Hitzigen Lochgraben and in the west by that of the Kertelbach . The Kahl and the Kahl – Schöllkrippen railway line run north . The Steinberg vineyard is located on the western slope .
