geography

course

The Kertelbach rises in a ravine below the picture oak on the Hahnenkamm . It flows between Heidkopf (325 m) and Heilberg (314 m) in a north-westerly direction. On dry days it seeps away after about 500 m at the edge of the forest. From there to the local border of Michelbach , it is heavily straightened. In the place it is completely piped. It flows into the Kahl opposite the Goldbach .

In summer the Kertelbach has no water at all.
