Heike Hartmann (born January 30, 1982 in Erfurt ) is a German speed skater .

Hartmann starts for the German speed skating club "Frillensee" Inzell , where she is trained by Markus Eicher . Until April 2007 she belonged to the Eissportclub Erfurt , where she was initially looked after by Stephan Gneupel and since 2005 by Jan Coopmans . At German championships, Hartmann achieved four podium placements. In 2003 she was third over 500 meters and second over 1000 meters. In 2007 she was runner-up on both routes. Her sister Anke Hartmann is also a speed skater.

Between 1996 (age group 14) and 2000 (juniors) Heike Hartmann won ten titles over various short distances and in youth and mini fourfighting. From 2001 to 2004 she competed regularly in the speed skating world cup . Here she mostly ran in the B group, where she achieved second places several times as the best placement. The best results in the A group were twelfth places in 2002 in Harbin and 2003 in Heerenveen , each over 1000 meters. After the 2003/04 season , Hartmann was no longer used internationally , apart from two races in January 2006 in Klobenstein .

She made her comeback on an international level at the beginning of the 2007/08 season in Salt Lake City . Here she also achieved placements among the top ten in the A group for the first time. It was fifth over 500 meters and eighth over 1000 meters.
