Heikki Juhani Väisänen (born January 7, 1943 in Kajaani ) is a former Finnish ski jumper .

Career

Väisänen, who started for the Kainuun Hiihtoseura club, made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1966/67 . Already in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf he landed on a good 30th place in the midfield. However, since he only showed weaker performance in the following competitions, he ended the tour in 61st place in the overall ranking. In the following Four Hills Tournament in 1967/68 he skipped the opening competition, but convinced on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with 14th place. After he only reached a weak 45th place in Innsbruck , he achieved his best individual result with 12th place in the final competition on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen . In the overall ranking he reached 15th place.

At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble , Väisänen started again in the individual from the normal hill. After jumps on 68.5 and 63.5 meters, he finished in 45th place.
