The Catholic cemetery chapel Heilig Kreuz in Steinheim , a district of Dillingen an der Donau in northern Bavarian Swabia , was probably built in the 17th century. The chapel at Bundesstrasse 16 , on the western corner of the new cemetery, is a protected architectural monument .

description

The single-nave building with a flat dome and a three-sided, northern end was rebuilt in 1750 by Simon Rotmeister. The canopy rests on two Tuscan columns. The roof turret is crowned by a French hood with a roof knob and cross. There is a bass violin window on both sides. The facade is structured by pilasters , over whose capitals a circumferential, cranked band runs. The segmental arched portal is flanked by pilasters.
