Heinrich Boltz

Heinrich Boltz (born November 5, 1831 in Völklingen ; † May 9, 1918 in Saarbrücken ) was a German lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Heinrich Boltz was the son of the government council and member of the Prussian House of Representatives Johann Heinrich Boltz (1804-1858). He attended grammar school in Trier until 1850 and studied at the University of Heidelberg and Bonn until 1854 . After a year of service with the 29th Infantry Regiment, he was an officer in the 30th Landwehr Regiment and left as a captain in 1873 .

He completed his training as an auscultator and trainee lawyer at the Trier District Court . In 1861 the assessor exam took place at the Cologne Court of Appeal . In 1862 he first settled as a lawyer in Trier and then at the Saarbrücken regional court, in 1885 he was appointed judicial councilor and in 1901 he was appointed secret councilor . From 1870 he was a city ​​councilor and from 1890 an alderman in Saarbrücken. He was also a fiscal attorney for the government in Trier, the mining and railroad management in Saarbrücken.

From 1893 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Trier 5 Saarbrücken and the National Liberal Party .

In 1911 he was awarded the Order of the Crown, 2nd Class, and in 1914, the Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd Class with Oak Leaves .
