Heinrich Kadich von Pferd , also Heinrich Kadich Edler von Pferd, (born June 5, 1865 in Brno , † February 25, 1918 in Vienna ) was a councilor , genealogist , administrative clerk and heraldist .

"Se. With a signed diploma, Majesty deigned to bestow graciously on the lieutenant colonel and commander of the state stallion depot in Klosterbruck, Heinrich Kadich, the nobility with the word of honor 'noble' and the predicate 'horse'. "

He studied at the University of Vienna . In 1891 he received his doctorate. jur. He then worked as a lawyer in the Austrian Ministry of Agriculture in Vienna as head of section. Kadich was a consultant for cattle breeding and cattle utilization. At the international fishing congress in 1908 he was a delegate from Austria. From 1909 he headed the department for cooperatives in the Agriculture Ministry.

His brother was Hans Kadich von Pferd (born January 12, 1864 in Brno, † September 7, 1909, Hamburg) and as a naturalist (Die Fauna der Herzegovina, 1888.) and narrator (From the diary of a tracker, 1888) became known. Both are sons of a horse breeder.

Many heraldic treatises can be traced back to the years 1886 to 1890. The collaboration on the “New Screen Maker” from 1888 onwards is particularly noteworthy. Many publications have been in the field of his activity.
