Heinrich Knorr (1886 recognition of the nobility name Knorr von Rosenroth ) (born August 15, 1830 in Gießen , † July 23, 1904 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian district administrator and civil servant.

family

Heinrich Knorr was the son of the civil servant and MP Christian Karl Ludwig Knorr (1800–1868) and his wife Christiane Buff (1799–1844). The district court president Ludwig Knorr (1827-1905) was his brother. Knorr, who was a Protestant denomination, married Anna Katharina Rosina, née Künstler (born December 14, 1834 in Offenbach, † April 20, 1913 in Darmstadt), daughter of Lieutenant Franz Künstler and his wife Auguste née Kast.

Life

In 1857 Heinrich Knorr became a ministerial secretariat accessist to the Ministry of the Interior of the government of the Grand Duchy of Hesse . In 1858 he became Ministerial-Secretary, 2nd class and in 1866 Ministerial-Secretary, 1st class.

From 1867 to 1872 he was a district councilor in the Bensheim district . In 1872 he was honored with a farewell dinner from the city of Bensheim. In 1868 he was also a member of the War Burden Commission.

In 1872 he returned to the Ministry of the Interior as Ministerialrat. 1872-1891 he was a member of the lordly instruction commission for the 2nd chamber of the state parliament. In 1879 he was promoted to the Secret State Council at the Ministry of the Interior. In the same year he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. In 1898 he became President of the Administrative Court and in 1896 he became the Real Secret Council and Dr. med. appointed hc.
