Heinrich Ludwig Weller

Heinrich Ludwig Weller (* 1819 in Tilsit , † 1893 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a businessman and local politician in Königsberg.

Act

1848 Weller founded a grocery store , which existed until 1900's. He was one of the leading democrats of the Königsberg citizenship and was active in many offices. He was chairman of the Königsberg trading company he founded , head of the city ​​council from 1876 to 1890 and head of the merchants' association from 1861 to 1882.

Weller was an honorary citizen of the city of Königsberg and from 1861 until his death in 1893 a member of the Masonic lodge Zum Todtenkopf and Phoenix .

He was married to Charlotte Michelly. The son bought the Metgethen estate in 1896 .
