Heinrich Reisinger (born October 12, 1941 in Quiigart ) is a German professor and politician ( FDP ).

Life and work

Reisinger completed his education in the elementary schools in Göttelborn and Niederlahnstein and the modern-language grammar school in Oberlahnstein . He graduated from high school in 1961 . This was followed by the study of mathematics and physics and in 1968 the diploma in physics at the University of Mainz . He then worked as a laboratory manager at AEG / TfK in Backnang / Baden-Württemberg. From 1974 he worked as a college teacher. In 1979 he was appointed professor in the field of physical technology at the Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences in the fields of electronics / solid state physics.

Political party

He has been a member of the FDP since 1979. He was chairman of the Rhein-Lahn district association and a member of the board of the Koblenz district association and the state board . From 1983 to 1993 he was chairman of the state committee for environmental policy and from 1995 to 2003 chairman of the federal committee for education, science, research and technology of his party. He was also active as a member of the FDP's federal committee for environmental policy.

He is a member of the board of the FDP district association Rhein-Lahn.

Reisinger was elected for the first time in the state elections in 1987 in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament and belonged to this two electoral terms (11th and 12th electoral terms) without interruption from May 27, 1987 to May 19, 1996. In the 11th electoral term he was chairman of the committee for the environment (name from November 16, 1987: committee for environment and health) and a member of the commission of the state commissioner for data protection, the cultural policy committee and the investigation committee " AKW Mülheim-Kärlich ". In the 12th electoral term he was chairman of the committee for science and further education and a member of the committee for the environment, the committee for science and further education, in the commission of the state commissioner for data protection and in the investigation committee "GBS".

Communal activities

He was a member of the Naststätten municipal council, the Buch municipal council and the district council of the Rhein-Lahn district .
