Heinrich Richard Reder
Heinrich Richard Reder (born May 25, 1862 in Memmingen , † November 11, 1942 in Munich ) was a German landscape painter, called "Regen-Reder".
Reder was born the son of a district judge in Memmingen. He studied freehand drawing at the Royal Bavarian Technical University in Munich with Philipp Sporrer and continued his studies from October 12, 1880 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Gabriel von Hackl .
After completing his studies, he worked as a freelance artist in Munich. He went on study trips to Austria , Switzerland and the United States . In addition to atmospheric landscapes, he also painted battle scenes. He was a member of the Munich Artists' Cooperative .
