Heinrich Roggendorf

Heinrich Roggendorf (born April 7, 1926 in Wiesdorf , † January 31, 1988 in Cologne ) was a German writer .

Life

Heinrich Roggendorf completed his training as a businessman and took part in the Second World War as a member of the Navy . He later lived as a freelance writer in Cologne-Flittard . His literary work consists of stories , poems , plays and radio plays , as well as texts on children's songs and libretti . Roggendorf, who was involved in the Catholic Artists' Union of Cologne , received the Kallendresser Order in 1973 and a grant from the State of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1976 .

His grave is in the cemetery in Cologne-Flittard (Hall 23). Roggendorf was married to the daughter of the Cologne writer Elisabeth Emundts-Draeger .
