Heinrich Schlenther
Johann Eduard Heinrich Schlenther (born March 5, 1821 in Insterburg ; † September 6, 1900 on the Baubeln estate near Pogegen ) was a Prussian lawyer and district administrator in the Tilsit district (1858–1889).
Life
Schlenther attended high school in Tilsit . From 1840 to 1843 he studied law in Berlin and Heidelberg . In 1849 he began as a court assessor in Insterburg . From 1850 he was district judge there and from 1854 in Tilsit. In 1858 he bought a manor . From 1858 to 1889, Schlenther was a district administrator in the Tilsit district. In 1884 he was appointed a secret councilor. From 1866 to 1870 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
