Keanu Neal (* 26. July 1995 in Webster , Florida ) is an American American football player at the position of the safety in the National Football League (NFL). Here he plays for the Atlanta Falcons .
Early years
Neal went to High School in Bushnell , Florida . He later played college football at the University of Florida . In his senior season for college, he played 11 of 12 games, had 96 tackles , one interception, and two sacks .
NFL
Neal took part in the 2016 NFL draft . Here he was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round in 17th place. Before the regular season, Neal sustained a knee injury. He then missed the first two games of the season. He made his first NFL game on September 26, 2016, in a 45:32 win over the New Orleans Saints on the third day of the 2016 season . After the season he reached the Super Bowl LI with the Falcons , which was lost to the New England Patriots at 28:34 . A season later he was nominated for the first time for the Pro Bowl .
In his third NFL season, Neal injured himself on the first day of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles , so he was put on the Injured Reserve List for the rest of the season .
In his fourth NFL season, Neal injured himself again, this time on the third day of the game against the Indianapolis Colts , and was put on the Injured Reserve List.
Personal
Keanu Neal was named after the actor Keanu Reeves . His brother Clinton Hart also played in the NFL as safety ( San Diego Chargers , St. Louis Rams ).
