Heinrich Suso Braun

Heinrich Suso Braun (born May 2, 1904 in Riedlingen , † May 23, 1977 in Imst ) was a philosopher and theologian of the Capuchin order . Braun's focus was on practical theology and his work as a radio preacher .

Heinrich Suso Braun, who was born in the Swabian town of Riedlingen in what was then the Kingdom of Württemberg , spent most of his life in Austrian monasteries . He wrote numerous theological works, of which his first work, The Nameless God , published in 1938, was very successful; it appeared in several new editions until 1976 and was translated into French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. His radio sermons have been published in a nine-volume collection and several individual volumes.
