Heinrich Troxbömker

Heinrich Troxbömker (born September 28, 1900 in Essen , † January 23, 1969 in Düsseldorf ) was a German actor , director and radio play speaker .

Life

Heinrich Troxbömker had engagements in Bremen and at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin until 1944 . From 1945 to 1948 he worked at the Stadttheater Konstanz and from 1948 to 1951 at the Stadttheater Bonn as an actor and director . After a guest performance at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen , he became a member of the ensemble at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt .

Heinrich Troxbömker worked in various film productions mainly in supporting roles . Among them was the National Socialist propaganda film G.PU , which today can only be shown as a reserved film under strict conditions. He also played in entertainment and historical films such as Nanette with Jenny Jugo and Hans Söhnker and Diesel with Willy Birgel . He was also involved in the films Farewell Christina and Life Goes on , which are considered unfinished films because filming could not be completed before the end of World War II .

From the 1950s he was also active as a speaker in many radio plays . In the radio play version of the novel Der Revisor by Nikolai Gogol in a production by Hessischer Rundfunk from 1954, he played the role of Iwan Kusmitsch Schpekin .
