Heinrich Wilhelm Martens

Heinrich Wilhelm Gottlieb Martens (born February 8, 1795 in Danzig ; † August 29, 1877 there ) was a lawyer and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Martens attended the University of Berlin , worked at the former regional and city courts, at the Commerz and Admiralty Collegium in Danzig and at the former Ober-Landes -gericht zu Marienwerder . He was a volunteer hunter in the Wars of Liberation, from 1831 a member of the Jena fraternity , 1848 a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly and in the spring of 1849 a member of the Second Chamber in Berlin.

In 1867 he was a non-attached conservative member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Danzig 3 ( Danzig City ).
