Heinrich Wilhelm von Wendt (* before 1650 ; † January 7, 1703 in Minden ) was provost in Minden and canon in various dioceses.

Life

Heinrich Wilhelm von Wendt came from the Westphalian noble family von Wendt as the son of the royal chamberlain Matthias von Wendt and his wife Mathilde von Leerodt . He was the nephew of the Provost Karl Franz von Wachtendonk . On June 25, 1664 Heinrich Wilhelm received a cathedral praise in Speyer , which the Canon Theodor von Plettenberg had previously waived . In 1677 he renounced here in favor of Plato Amelung of Chalon . The revocation to the canon in Osnabrück took place in 1673. With the resignation of Canon Hermann von der Recke , Heinrich Wilhelm came into the possession of a Münster prebende in 1674 . Previously, on April 22nd of that year, he had been awarded a cathedral praise in Hildesheim by the Elector Maximilian Heinrich . In 1683 and 1688, respectively, he came into possession of the Oblegium Schmalamt and the Obedience Blasii sive Sommersehl . Heinrich Wilhelm was subdeacon and provost of both St. Martini in Münster and cathedral provost in Minden . He found his final resting place in Minden Cathedral .
