Heinrich von Gottberg

Rudolf Heinrich von Gottberg (born December 1, 1864 in Groß Klitten near Domnau ; † February 12, 1931 in Königsberg in Prussia - Maraunenhof ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Heinrich von Gottberg was the son of the landowner, Prussian district administrator and politician Otto von Gottberg and Olga geb. Tortilowicz from Batocki. After attending grammar school in Bartenstein and the Königliches Wilhelms-Gymnasium Königsberg , he studied law and political science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and the Albertus University Königsberg . In 1883 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the civil service and became a government assessor. From 1893 to 1908 he was district administrator for the district of Friedland .

Von Gottberg was first lieutenant in the reserve in the cuirassier regiment "Graf Wrangel" (East Prussian) No. 3 . His first marriage was to Elisabeth Freiin von Hollen †, his second marriage to Anna von Gottberg † and his third marriage to Hertha Liman. The three marriages resulted in a total of five sons and five daughters.
