Especially in the mid-1960s and early 1970s, his spring propaganda attracted the general public's attention. He was criticized in particular by Erika Hoffmann and Gertraud Kietz .

Live and act

After graduating from high school, he studied to become a primary school teacher. Lückert was only active as a teacher for a short time. When the Second World War broke out, he was immediately drafted as a soldier. After returning from captivity, Lückert studied philosophy and psychology at the universities in Göttingen and Munich. In 1949 he obtained a diploma in psychology from the first-mentioned university. A year later Lückert received his doctorate in Munich. phil. The topic of his dissertation is: The vital aspect in the typologies. A contribution to the formation of typological theories . In 1957 he completed his habilitation in psychology.

From 1958 until his retirement in 1978, Lückert initially taught at what was then the University of Education in Munich-Pasing and later, after its integration, at the LMU Munich as a professor of psychology. In addition, he was co-editor (together with Horst Nickel and Anne-Marie Tausch ) of the journal Psychology in Education and Teaching ("Journal for Research and Practice"), the continuation of the journal School and Psychology , published by Ernst Reinhardt Verlag , Munich and Basel. Lückert's method significantly influenced Kurt A. Heller .

In addition to his scientific tasks, Lückert also devoted himself to the practical implementation of psychological knowledge, for example as head of the working group for social and educational practice and employee in specialist training (occupational and industrial medicine). After his retirement, his entire commitment as director of the 'Institute for Activation Therapy' was focused on the practical implementation of this therapy concept he had developed .

On the occasion of his death, the LMU announced:

Professor Lückert has become known to a large audience as a psychological advisor that is often in demand - especially when it comes to questions of education - through the media. In his research he endeavored to introduce psychoanalytic concepts into academic psychology and concerned himself with upbringing and education in preschool age. With the integration of psychoanalytic concepts in academic psychology, Professor Lückert took a path early on that has proven to be fruitful to this day ... His translation of the Stanford intelligence tests gave German developmental diagnostics important impulses and demonstrated the ability to record intelligence especially at an early age - comparable. The preschool movement in the Federal Republic of Germany received decisive impulses from Professor Lückert's committed advocacy through early support for children. His initial focus on spring and the collection of research carried out in this direction gave way more and more to a broader developmental approach to cognitive advancement in the preschool age. He systematically presented this view in several fundamental essays. Prof. Lückert attracted the attention of the wider public more than once with provocative topics and findings. In this way he succeeded in something that many scientists are unable to do: discuss scientific assumptions and personal conclusions publicly and not avoid controversies .

Lückert died in a traffic accident at the age of 78.
