Heinz Boll

Heinz Boll (* 1915 ; † after 1955) was a German gymnast from West Berlin , who started for the BSG unit Northeast Berlin .

Act

Boll was in May 1943 fifth at the German Gymnastics Championships 1943 and in September at the German Gymnastics and Game Championships 1943 tenth in the decathlon . In 1944 he defended at the device championships of the region Berlin-Brandenburg repeated the title in the decathlon with 188.3 points while while singles champion on parallel bars , the horizontal bar and floor exercises .

After the world war he did gymnastics in July 1949, before the two German states were founded, one at the last appearance of a joint German team in the Berlin Waldbühne . In the same year he became the first GDR champion in all- around as well as on parallel bars, horizontal bars and horse jumping .

In 1953 he took ninth and last place in the international Jahn memorial gymnastics on the Berlin Waldbühne in front of 12,000 spectators. The winner was the Swiss Josef Stalder .

In 1955 he won again the national championship in the twelve fight at the 3rd Berlin State Gymnastics Festival of the Berlin Gymnastics Association in the Poststadion .
