Josef "Sepp" Stalder-Fuchs (* February 6, 1919 - March 2, 1991 ) was a Swiss gymnast .

Stalder took part in the Summer Olympics in 1948 and 1952 . He won a total of seven medals in various disciplines, including a gold on the horizontal bar in London in 1948 . In 1952 he was named Sportsman of the Year in Switzerland . In 1953 he won the international Jahn memorial gymnastics on the Berlin Waldbühne in front of 12,000 spectators.

The "Stalder tackle" is named after him because he was the first gymnast in the world to show a tackle on the horizontal bar.
