Heinz Förstendorf

Heinz Förstendorf (born December 28, 1907 in Leipzig , † September 2, 1988 in Bremen ) was a German hockey player .

Heinz Förstendorf belonged to the dominant German hockey club in the 1920s, the Leipziger SC . At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 , five Leipzigers were part of the squad: Georg Brunner , Heinz Förstendorf, Werner Freyberg , Werner Proft and Rolf Wollner . Förstendorf only played in the game against France in Amsterdam. In the game for third place against Belgium, his teammates beat the Belgians 3-0 and Förstendorf received the bronze medal with the German team. Heinz Förstendorf played a total of four international matches.
