Heinz Flockenhaus
Heinrich "Heinz" Flockenhaus (* 1856 in Remscheid , Rhine Province ; † 1919 or 1921 in Düsseldorf ) was a German landscape painter from the Düsseldorf School .
life and work
Little is known about Flockenhaus' artistic career. He lived and worked in Düsseldorf, where he lived in 1893 as a neighbor of the portrait painter Emil Schwabe in the house at Adlerstrasse 20 in Pempelfort . In 1887 he stayed in the Netherlands . He is known for his atmospheric, impressionistically influenced winter landscapes, the motifs of which he found particularly on the Lower Rhine and in the Netherlands.
