Heinz Golombeck

Heinz Golombeck (born October 19, 1948 in Magdeburg ) is a German politician .

He completed an apprenticeship in electronics and worked in quality assurance for a measurement technology company. In 1994 he joined the FDP . Since 1996 he has been chairman of the FDP local association in the Karlsruhe district of Neureut . From 2007 to 2013 he was district chairman of the FDP Karlsruhe City. In 2009 he was elected to the Karlsruhe municipal council.

In the 2009 Bundestag elections , he surprisingly managed to enter the German Bundestag as 15th on the Baden-Württemberg state list , as the FDP achieved a record result of 18.8% in the state.

In the Bundestag he was a member of the Europa-Union parliamentary group of the German Bundestag . He was also a full member of the Committee on European Union Affairs, the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs and the subcommittee on Civic Commitment.

After his party's failure at the five percent hurdle in the 2013 Bundestag election , he is no longer represented in the 18th Bundestag. However, he was in the hopeless place 27 on the FDP state list anyway.

Golombeck is a Protestant , widowed and the father of two children.
