Heinz Hausmann (born June 11, 1941 in Kronach ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and a former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Heinz Hausmann did an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk and attended the Catholic Social Institute in 1968, from 1967 to 1990 he was head of the Catholic People's Office in Kronach and a consultant in adult education.

From 1968 to 1995 he was a member of the board of AOK Coburg, in 1995 a board member of the AOK Coburg and in 1986 a deputy member of the board of the LVA Upper and Middle Franconia.

Heinz Hausmann is Roman Catholic, married and has two children.

politics

Heinz Hausmann joined the CSU in 1965. He was JU district chairman from 1970 to 1979 . Since 1971 he has been chairman of the local CSU branch in Kronach, since 1977 chairman of the CSU town council in Kronach and since 1979 deputy chairman of the CSU district. Hausmann is also active in the Christian Democratic workforce , where he was CSA district chairman for Upper Franconia in 1987 and a member of the CSA state board.

In local politics, Heinz Hausmann was active as a city and district councilor from 1972. From 1982 to 1990 he was a member of the Upper Franconian District Assembly . From 1984 to 1990 and 2002 to 2008 he was second mayor of the city of Kronach.

From 1990 to 2003 Heinz Hausmann was a member of the state parliament. There he was a member of the Committee on Social, Health and Family Policy for 3 terms. From 1990 to 1994 he was also a member of the committee for internal German development and border issues and from 1998 to 2003 he was also a member of the council of elders . On May 1, 2008, Heinz Hausmann succeeded Karl Döhler in the state parliament and became a member of the committee for federal and European affairs. He was no longer available for election to the state parliament in September 2008 .

Other offices

Heinz Hausmann is on the supervisory board of a large number of companies, such as Kronacher Wohnungsbau GmbH (Chairman, 1996), the Joseph Foundation Bamberg (1996/2004), the State Garden Show 2002 Kronach (1996) and the Frankenwaldklinik Kronach (2003/2006).

Between 1960 and 1972 he did church youth work and was a diocesan councilor. From 1994 to 1998 he was a member of the Central Committee of German Catholics and from 1998 to 2006 of the State Committee of Catholics in Bavaria.

Heinz Hausmann is a board member in many associations. From 1974 to 2001 he was DAG local chairman, 1992 VdK local chairman, 1999 VdK district chairman and from 1990 ACA district chairman Upper and Middle Franconia.

Honors

Heinz Hausmann has received numerous awards for his services, including the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon and (2014) the Bavarian Order of Merit . Furthermore, he is the holder of the Medal of Merit of the District of Upper Franconia, Municipal Medal of Merit in bronze and silver, Medal of Merit in silver of the city of Kronach, Medal of Merit in gold for special merits of the district of Kronach, Great Medal of Merit in gold for outstanding services of the district of Kronach.
