Heinz Huppertz
Heinz Huppertz (born March 28, 1902 in Krefeld ; † August 17, 1972 in Berlin ) was a German jazz and entertainment musician ( violin , piano , orchestra conductor).
Huppertz received academic instrumental training in Krefeld and Cologne. At the end of the 1920s, he founded a dance orchestra that played in various dance cafes in Berlin. In 1932 it became the house band in the Rio Rita Bar . Since then, Huppertz has recorded several records with his orchestra, also together with the Metropol vocalists . After the Second World War, Huppertz continued his career and performed with his dance orchestra at balls and sporting events. The catalog of the music archive at the German National Library lists 133 titles by Huppertz.
