Heinz Lichtl

Heinz Lichtl (born October 10, 1931 in Andernach ; † November 9, 2015 ) was a German soccer player who mainly acted as a right wing runner in the midfield of the World Cup system at that time .

career

Lichtl played with his hometown club Spvgg Andernach in the 1952/53 season in the 2nd league southwest and took 3rd place there. For the 1953/54 season he signed a contract with FC St. Pauli in the first-class soccer Oberliga Nord and moved to Hamburg. Immediately Lichtl belonged to the inner circle of regulars and St. Pauli took the broadcast with 39:21 points to second place ; Surprisingly not behind the series champion of the north, Hamburger SV, but behind Hannover 96, which won the title in the final round of the German football championship against the favorites 1. FC Kaiserslautern. He made his debut on September 1, 1957 at the local derby against VfR Kaiserslautern in the league eleven of the "Red Devils". He played as a middle runner in the 3-1 success. In his second league appearance, on September 8th, a 5-2 home win against Mainz 05, he played as a center forward and scored one goal. In total, the man from Andernach played 12 league games for 1.
