Heinz Ulbrich

Heinz Ulbrich (born November 26, 1916 in Alt Harzdorf near Reichenberg, today Liberec , † June 21, 1995 in Munich ) was a German businessman and trade unionist. From 1971 to 1977 he represented the trade unions in the Bavarian Senate .

Life

Ulbrich attended elementary and community school and then did an apprenticeship as a businessman with the completion of the assistant examination. From 1933 to 1938 he was employed by the textile workers' union. During World War II he was active as a soldier and was wounded several times. In 1946 he was resettled from Czechoslovakia to Germany. There he initially worked as an unskilled worker, from 1950 on in the DGB regional district in Munich and until 1956 as a judge at the regional labor court and the regional social court . From 1954 to 1978 he was state chairman of the food-pleasure-restaurants union and was a member of the main board. From 1969 to 1978 he was also a member of the Federal Committee of the DGB. From 1971 to 1977 he represented the trade unions in the Bavarian Senate . Later he was a member of the state board of workers' welfare and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Allgäuer Alpenmilch AG . In 1985 he was a founding member of the Maria-Stadler-Haus geriatric and care association in Haar near Munich and its second chairman.
