Heinz Wieczoreck (born January 30, 1940 ) is a former German football player who was active in 1964 for Dynamo Dresden in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

After a long period of abstinence from higher-class football, Dynamo Dresden was promoted to the second-class first GDR league in 1958 . 19-year-old Heinz Wieczoreck was also part of the squad for the 1959 GDR league season (calendar year season). He has been used in ten games in the 26 league games, and he scored one goal. After this hopeful start, however, he quickly disappeared from the GDR-wide game operation. When Dynamo Dresden in the 1961/62 season (return to the summer-spring season) made promotion to the GDR league, Wieczoreck was only involved with a league game. In the following two seasons he disappeared again from the Dynamo squad. It was not until the 1964/65 season that he came back for the Dresden league team in a league game. In the encounter of the 11th league game on November 29, 1964 SC Leipzig - Dynamo Dresden (2-1), in which two regular players had to be replaced, Wieczoreck was called up as a defender. It was his last league game in high-class football.
