Helena Blach Lavrsen (born June 7, 1963 in Frederiksberg Kommune as Helena Blach ) is a Danish curler .

Blach Lavrsen made her international debut at the 1979 World Cup in Perth , but she remained without a medal. In 1981 she won her first precious metal with the bronze medal at the European Championships in Grindelwald .

Blach Lavrsen played as Skip for Denmark in the curling competitions of the Winter Games of 1988 and 1992 , which was then still a demonstration sport. The team finished sixth in 1988 and fourth in 1992.

Blach Lavrsen also played as Skip for the Danish team in the XX. Winter Olympics in Nagano in curling. The team won the Olympic silver medal after a 5-7 defeat in the final against Canada by Skip Sandra Schmirler .

From 1979 to 1998 she took part in the world championships 16 times . In 1982 she won the gold medal as fourth of the Danish team around Skip Marianne Jørgensen . As Skip, she won the silver medal in 1990 and 1997 and the bronze medal in 1998. At the European Championships she was there 14 times from 1980 to 1998. In 1994 she won the gold medal there as Skip. In 1997 she was second with her team and third in 1981 and 1998 .

At the 2013 Women's Junior World Championships , she coached the Danish team led by Stephanie Risdal Nielsen .
