Helena Leveelahti (born September 30, 1999 in Virrat ) is a Finnish discus thrower .

Athletic career

Helena Leveelahti gained her first experience in international competitions at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2015 in Tbilisi , where she took eighth place in the shot put with a width of 14.86 m and won the silver medal in the discus throw with 48.06 m. A year later she won the bronze medal with the discus at the first European Youth Championships there with 49.34 m. In 2017 she finished fifth at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with 51.85 m and the following year she won the silver medal at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 56.80 m. In addition, she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where she did not reach the final with 53.56 m. In 2019 she was eighth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 51.03 m.
