People who say “yes” to peace can enter their names on an endless fabric banner and paint their image of peace on it. In 2017, the peace banderole was 1.7 km long and contained several thousand peace paintings by people from over 18 countries. The peace banderole is an accompanying medium for peace education in peace teaching in schools; it was at numerous peace festivals such as the Evangelical Church Congress in Dresden, the Augsburg High Peace Festival, at the 30th anniversary of Friedensburg Schlaining, and was rolled out in 2017 in a spectacular action in Holzhausen, Igling parish, along Dorfstraße to the end of the village.

In 2016, Helene Walterskirchen founded a sister project of the Peace Banderole, in which students from a city / region paint peace pictures in art classes, which then take part in a peace painting competition. In 2016 the painting competition was titled: “Augsburg students paint for peace”, 2017 “Landsberg students paint for peace”, 2018 “Kempten students paint for peace”.

Both the peace banderole and the winning pictures of the three competitions will be exhibited in the traveling exhibitions PEACE ART, which previously took place in Augsburg, Landsberg and Kempten.

In 2014 she founded the KULTUR-MAGAZIN SCHLOSS RUDOLFSHAUSEN, a printed edition published twice a year, a collective edition on cultural topics (The German National Library, ISSN 2366-5165). Since 2018, the culture magazine Schloss Rudolfshausen has also been published every two months as an independent online magazine. Helene Walterskirchen and her daughter Alexandra are the editors.
