Helge Perälä

Helge Perälä ( Helge Anton Perälä; born June 3, 1915 in Vehkalahti , Hamina , † February 13, 2010 in Tampere ) was a Finnish long-distance runner .

In 1946 he won silver over 10,000 m at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo and did not reach the goal over 5000 m .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was eleventh over 5000 m .

In 1947 he became Finnish champion over 5000 m and cross-country .
