Helge Slaatto

Helge Slaatto (* 1952 in Oslo ) is professor for violin at the Musikhochschule Münster .

Life

Helge Slaatto studied with Maria Lidka , Sandor Végh and Dorothy Delay , he worked as concertmaster with the Odense Symfoniorkester and Athelas Ensemble Copenhagen. Slaatto is an interpreter of contemporary music as a soloist with the Koenig Ensemble London, Koechlin Ensemble, Randers Kammerorkester Denmark, at the Bergen Festival , Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte Montepulciano , among others . He leads master classes in Germany, Greece, Denmark and Portugal. From 2008 to 2010 Slaatto was dean at the Musikhochschule Münster.
