The Helgoland is a patrol boat of the water police the police Schleswig-Holstein and belongs to the class Fassmer FPB 34 . The home port is Büsum , which is part of the Brunsbüttel district. The ship was built for 7.4 million euros and christened on November 5, 2014 by the Schleswig-Holstein Finance Minister Monika Heinold . It replaced a predecessor boat of the same name that had been in service since 1973. The boat is named after the North Sea island of Helgoland .
