Hellmut Haase-Altendorf

Hellmut Haase-Altendorf (born December 17, 1912 in Chemnitz , † January 14, 1990 in Burladingen ) was a German composer , conductor and pianist .

At the age of six he received private piano lessons from music director Weissflog and later from the director of the Chemnitz theater, Egelkrant. Against his father's resistance he studied at the Academy of Music in Munich with Roderich von Mojsisovics composition , with Siegmund von Hausegger and Theodor Huber-Andernach, and with Josef Pembaur junior.
