Hellmuth Priess
Hellmuth Prieß (born March 6, 1896 in Hildesheim , † October 21, 1944 near Hasenrode ) was a German officer in World War II, last in the rank of general of the infantry .
Life
Prieß served as an officer in the First World War . As a lieutenant he was the leader of the 1st MG Company of Sturm Battalion No. 5 (Rohr) . After the war he switched to the Reichswehr and worked as a commander and general staff officer in various units.
