Helmut Böger

Helmut Böger (born September 18, 1949 in Wuppertal ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Helmut Böger completed an internship at the Neue Ruhr-Zeitung and then worked as a local editor in the Wuppertal editorial team and as an editor in the politics department of the NRZ headquarters in Essen . From 1977 to 1981 he worked as press spokesman for the Federal Ministry for Youth, Family and Health . Then he was a correspondent for the Bunte Illustrierte in Bonn . In 1989 he went to Bild am Sonntag as chief reporter ; for this newspaper he continues to write articles on political, historical and cultural topics. Böger lives in Hamburg .

In addition to his journalistic activities, Helmut Böger is the author of a literary work consisting of two novels , short stories , satires and biographies .
