Helmut Bradl

Helmut Bradl (born November 17, 1961 ) is a former German motorcycle racer .

Together with Reinhold Roth , Toni Mang and Martin Wimmer , he was one of the best German motorcycle racing drivers in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Bradl started from 1986 to 1993 on a Honda in the 250 cm³ class of the motorcycle world championship . His biggest success in 1991 in HB -Racing team of Dieter Stappert been in the World Championship. Despite five Grand Prix victories, he was defeated by the Italian Luca Cadalora this year .

Today he runs a motorcycle shop in Zahling together with his brother Max, who looked after him at the races .

His son Stefan Bradl is also a motorcycle racer and became world champion in the Moto2 class in 2011 .
