Helmut Fielhauer
Helmut Paul Fielhauer (born October 8, 1937 in Vienna ; † February 5, 1987 there ) was an Austrian folklorist .
Life
Helmut Fielhauer was appointed university professor at the Institute for Folklore of the University of Vienna in 1977. In teaching and research he represented a socially critical, politically left-wing science. He focused in the areas of workers' folklore , custom research , museology and urban research.
