The Science Award of the State of Lower Austria is a science award of the State of Lower Austria .

history

After the Lower Austrian Culture Prize founded in 1959 had proven its worth, the Lower Austrian Provincial Government decided on December 17, 1963 to donate a science prize. The prize was endowed with 50,000 schillings in 1964 and 38,000 euros in 2014.
