Helmut Frank (born July 22, 1933 in Frankfurt-Höchst ; † February 9, 2015 in Gelnhausen ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After primary school, Frank trained as an electronics technician from 1947 to 1950. In 1960 he earned the championship title. He worked at Hoechst AG . He was a trade unionist and member of the Chemical, Paper, Ceramics trade union and chairman of the youth council at Hoechst AG. He was married and has three children.

politics

Frank had been a member of the CDU since 1956 and was active there in many board positions. He was also a member of the CDA and was also a member of the Frankfurt am Main district board. Between 1968 and 1974 Frank was a city councilor in Frankfurt. From December 1, 1974 to 1987, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for four terms. He ran in the constituency of Frankfurt am Main I , but was elected to the state parliament via the state list of his party.
