Helmut Geschinsky

Helmut Geschinsky (born July 9, 1927 in Berlin ; † July 31, 2009 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Helmut Geschinsky attended a business school and worked as a commercial clerk and journalist immediately after the Second World War in 1945 . From 1950 he studied at the German University of Politics in Berlin. In 1956 he became an administrative employee at various Senate administrations and joined the SPD in the same year. Geschinsky became a lecturer at Berlin adult education centers in 1962 and from 1965 a speaker at the Berlin Information Center, where he looked after groups of visitors.

Geschinsky moved in 1965 in the Borough Assembly in the Charlottenburg district after and was in the Berlin election in 1967 in the Berlin House of Representatives voted. After one legislative period, he left parliament in 1971.
