Helmut Gressieker

Helmut Gressieker (* 1910 in Dortmund ; † 1986 ) was a German artist , sculptor , graphic artist , eraser and wood cutter .

Life

Helmut Gressieker attended the art academy in Hamburg and Berlin and acquired the master's title as a stone sculptor.

From 1957 to 1965 he was head of the artistic teaching department at the Werkkunstschule Hannover . He then became director of the Hildesheim Werkkunstschule and then lived in Hildesheim .
