Helmut Heinze (judge)

Helmut Heinze (born January 13, 1917 in Döbeln ; † October 28, 2007 ) was a German judge .

Heinze passed his first state examination in Leipzig in 1948 , which was followed by the second state examination in East Berlin in 1952 . From 1955 to 1957 he worked at the Social Court in Berlin . Then he moved to the Berlin State Social Court . In 1960 he became President of the Senate and in 1969 Vice President of the Court.

In 1972 he moved to the Federal Social Court and in 1980 became the presiding judge of the 4th Senate, which is responsible for matters relating to workers' pension insurance. Heinze retired at the end of January 1985.

Heinze died at the age of 90 and was buried in the Leipzig North Cemetery.
