Helmut Mühlender

Helmut Mühlender (born October 9, 1918 in Hüffelsheim , † April 25, 2008 in Mainz ) was a German employee and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Mühlender attended elementary school and high school up to primary school. He then did Reich Labor Service and military service before he was dismissed as a severely disabled person in 1941 and was unable to work until 1950. 1950–1964 he was a commercial clerk at the Seitz works in Bad Kreuznach.

politics

From 1933 to 1937 Mühlender was a member of the Hitler Youth (young train leader in Hüffelsheim) and joined the NSDAP in 1937 . From 1941 to 1942 he was a member of the German Labor Front and in 1942 the representative of the propaganda leader of the OG Hüffelsheim.

In 1956 he became a member of the SPD and was deputy district chairman and member of the sub-district executive committee and the district committee of the SPD. In 1956 he became a member and 1959–1964 parliamentary group chairman in the Bad Kreuznach district council and a member of the district committee. Between 1964 and 1970 he was mayor of the Winterburg community before he became a full-time official member of the Rüdesheim / Nahe district and honorary mayor of the Hüffelsheim community from 1970 to 1982.

For the retired Heinrich Schneider he moved on 1 September 1970 in the sixth Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate after which he belonged until the end of the term 1,971th In the state parliament he was a member of the economic committee.
