Helmut Pfordte

Helmut Pfordte (born June 4, 1940 in Delitzsch ) is a German farmer and politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

After graduating from primary school in Schenkenberg (see Delitzsch ), Helmut Pfordte graduated from EOS Delitzsch in 1958 . He then studied from 1958 to 1964 in Leipzig with a degree in agriculture. Afterwards Pfordte was from 1955 to 1971 employee in the agricultural council of the district. Between 1971 and 1983 he was production manager at VEB Rindermast Delitzsch. From 1984 he was chairman of the LPG  (T) Schenkenberg.

Pfordte is Protestant, married and has three children.

politics

Helmut Pfordte was a member of the DBD from 1964 and was district chairman from 1980 and from 1989 deputy district chairman of the party. Between 1968 and 1979 Pfordte was a city councilor for Delitzsch. From 1980 to 1990 he was a member of the district council.

Pfordte has been a member of the CDU since September 1990 . In October 1990 he was elected to the Saxon state parliament via the state list of the CDU Saxony . There he was chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forestry and a member of the Petitions Committee. He resigned his mandate on October 23, 1991 in connection with the review of the MPs for cooperation with the Ministry of State Security .
