Helmuth Barth

Helmuth Barth (also Helmut Barth ; born March 29, 1933 in Maselheim - Sulmingen ; † May 4, 1991 ) was a German animal filmmaker . He worked as a cameraman as well as a film producer and participated in numerous animal films.

Career

Initially, Barth was a partner of Eugen Schuhmacher - among other things in the award-winning film The Last Paradises , which was shot for seven years (from 1959 to 1966). He was also involved in Europe's paradises . As a cameraman he shot the Africa section of the Hellstrom Chronicle for Walon Green , which was awarded the Oscar for best documentary film in 1972. He also produced films about the Upper Swabian customs .
