Hendrik Feist (born June 2, 1983 in Achern , Baden-Württemberg ) is a former German basketball player .

Career

The 1.93 m tall and 96 kg heavy Feist was used in the shooting guard and small forward positions . He was a student at the basketball boarding school of the Urspring School before studying at Stony Brook University in the US state of New York between 2002 and 2006 and playing for the college’s basketball team in the US NCAA .

After his return to Germany he was under contract with the German Bundesliga club Artland Dragons in Quakenbrück between 2006 and 2008 . From 2008, Hendrik Feist has been playing for TV 1862 Langen in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA and in the same year he started a master's degree in economics at the Lahr University of Applied Sciences. However, the Quakenbrücker had an option to re-commit Feist for the 2009/2010 season.

Hendrik Feist was a U20 and A2 national player in Germany. He also took part in the Universiade in Izmir in 2005 with the university national team.

In the summer of 2010 he ended his basketball career to devote himself to his professional future.

Success in the BBL

In 2008, Hendrik Feist won the BBL Cup with the Artland Dragons .
